Affiliate disclosure.
How BonusPrimer makes money — and how that does not affect what we recommend.
BonusPrimer participates in affiliate programs that pay us a commission when a reader applies for a product through a link on this site and is approved. This is how the site funds its operations. We want you to know exactly how this works so you can weigh our recommendations accordingly.
How commissions work
When you click certain links, a tracking cookie is set by the affiliate network. If you are approved for the product within a window set by the advertiser (commonly 30–45 days), BonusPrimer receives a fixed commission. Commissions vary from tens of dollars to several hundred dollars per approved application.
How commissions don’t work
- We are never paid to mention a product.
- Commission rates never determine what appears on the site or where.
- We do not have a “partner” section where paying companies get better placement.
- We disclose the same information about every product, affiliate or not.
Networks we currently work with
BonusPrimer is in the process of applying to affiliate networks relevant to US credit card and bank account bonuses. As programs are approved, we will list them here so you can see the complete picture.
- Pending approval: CJ Affiliate, FlexOffers, Impact, Bankrate Credit Cards, CardRatings. This list will update once applications are approved.
Your rights
You never pay more because of an affiliate link. The rate, fee, and bonus are identical to applying directly on the issuer’s site. If you prefer to apply without sending us a commission, you are welcome to search for the product directly — we do not take that personally.
Not financial advice
Nothing on BonusPrimer constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice. Everything is general educational information. For decisions with a meaningful financial impact, please talk to a qualified professional who knows your complete situation.
This disclosure complies with the United States Federal Trade Commission’s guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).
